Principal's Message

Welcome to the Queen Elizabeth Public School website!
 
We are fortunate to have an outstanding staff at Queen Elizabeth that is dedicated to nurturing and supporting our students’ development, both inside and outside of the classroom.   It is truly an honour to be surrounded by caring professionals who do their best each and every day to make every student’s career at our school a memorable one.
 
We are also fortunate to have such a positive and supportive parent community at our school.  Research shows that students are much more successful when both home and school work together in positive ways!  Some of the most effective ways that parents can help their children succeed at school are:
 
  • setting high expectations for your child,
  • talking about school/learning on a daily basis,
  • encouraging a positive attitude & work habits, and
  • reading together every day
 
We encourage all parents to get involved in the school community by attending school events, supporting extra-curricular activities or volunteering to assist with different events around the school.  Joining our School Community Advisory Council is also a great way to help provide input and advice that will help all of our students reach their full potential.    
 
I am very excited to continue my role as principal at Queen Elizabeth as we work to build confident learners & caring citizens!
